Website Update — Tours of the 6

July 2018. A website update for Tours of the 6 to help make it feel friendlier, more accessible to a wider demographic, and to help show off the fun, quirky side of Toronto that many locals love.

We were looking for a design that would help our client show their deep love of the city. We needed to reflect its many facets and help the user fall in love with it too.

In stock photography Toronto is portrayed as a city of inaccessible skyscrapers. We brought the images down to the ground and showed things the user to could interact with by supplementing stock images with our own, custom photography.

We decided on a vibrant colour palette because it was important to create something that would catch the eye, create lots of options for colours to play together, and create opportunities for high contrast to highlight important information.
